The American Foundry Society (AFS), a national professional, technical, and trade association for foundries and the broader metal casting industry, recognized McWane Senior Vice President, Environmental, Health, and Safety Jeet Radia for his contributions to the industry.
AFS will award the Thomas W. Pangborn Gold Medal to Radia for his dedication to education and knowledge-sharing at its annual conference in April. Radia has worked in the environmental, health, and safety field for over 40 years and oversees environmental health and safety (EHS) programs at McWane's 30 manufacturing facilities.
"Jeet Radia has garnered the admiration of his colleagues through remarkable achievements and the generous sharing of his extensive expertise," said AFS CEO Doug Kurkul. "His contributions have fostered a culture of excellence and pride that characterizes the entirety of the metalcasting industry."
