Requesting a quote might seem like a simple process, but because we manufacture poles to suit your exact needs, there are a lot of options available when placing an order. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to navigate the RFQ process.

General RFQs
Our generalized quotes include 40 holes (or 20 through holes), two threaded holes, embed coating to one foot above ground line, and an HDPE Flat or Raptor Cap into the item’s standard price.

How to Request a Quote

Our manufacture reps and regional sales managers have access to an online portal where they can submit a request for quote once they have received it from the end user. To start a quote, you’ll need:

  • End Utility

  • Distributor

  • City and state of shipping location

    • This isn’t always necessary, but it’s helpful for project tracking.
  • Project start date

    • This information is useful to determine the production space needed, when would we be expected to start delivery and complete delivery, etc.
  • Pole height

    • 30-110’ varies based on class

Things to Consider

Determining exactly what you need can depend on many factors. It can be confusing, but don’t worry. We are here to help!
Here are some of the factors we take into consideration when processing a quote:

  • Are there drawings? You can fill out our blank drawing template Drawing Template
  • How many holes are needed?
  • Do you need a custom PermaSafe application length?
  • How deep will the poles be buried?
  • Do you need ground plates?
  • Do you need hole plugs?
  • Are there multiple delivery sites?
  • Do you want freight as a line item or built into the cost of the pole?
  • Is there a bid package that needs completed?
  • Do terms and conditions need reviewed?
  • Is this a Buy America or Buy American project?

Final Pricing

The final price may differ from the quote. Our quotes are valid for 30 days and while we know changes may happen, we can look at the quote again after drawings have been approved to make sure everything has been covered.
